Cashew Queso, Guacamole & Salsa Party Spread


Who says party picks have to be unhealthy?
Both guaranteed crowd pleasers, these recipes take almost NO time to prepare, aaaand you most likely already have these ingredients at home!
ENJOY.
Cashew Queso
Here's what you need:
  • 3 cups cashews, raw
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 6 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

Here's how to make it:

Add all ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.

Salsa

Here's what you need:

  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes

Here's how to make it:

  1. Add all ingredients (except diced tomatoes) to a food processor, and pulse until well combined.
  2. Add diced tomatoes to the mixture, and pulse until desired consistency is achieved. 

Guacamole

Here's what you need:

  • 4 hass avocados
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 5 cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 2 heaping Tbsp cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste

Here's how to make it:

  1. Mash avocados in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, and mix.
