My smoothie bowl obsession is real. I know I’m not the only one, though! Smoothie bowls are so great to enjoy for breakfast or as a snack at some point during the day. They’re filled with fruits, superfoods and whatever other goodness you choose to add to them! The list of toppings really is endless.
If you’re craving something rich and sweet, make a chocolate and peanut butter flavored bowl. Top it with some cacao nibs, a spoon of peanut butter, some chopped bananas and sprinkled coconut flakes. If you’re in the mood for something refreshing and light, make a fruity smoothie bowl. Top it with strawberries, blueberries (or any fruit you love), hemp seeds, chia seeds, and raw goji berries. You get where I’m going with this? Endless.
For this morning, I decided to go the refreshing route and made a Strawberry Smoothie Bowl topped with more strawberries, bananas, nectarines, coconut flakes, and raw goji berries. Easy, quick and DELICIOUS.
Here's what you need:
- 2 frozen bananas
- 15 frozen strawberries
Here's how to make it:
- Add frozen bananas and strawberries to a blender and blend, stop, mash and repeat until smooth and creamy.
- Top with whatever toppings you love! I topped mine with more strawberries, bananas, nectarines, coconut flakes, and raw goji berries.
